Stop-Motion

O.K. so this stop-motion is several months old, but I haven't had the chance to upload because the software I had was only a trial version, now that I have the full version (YAY FOR CHRISTMAS) I will probably be uploading more and more videos of stop-motion.

Alright this video is starring my little brother. I managed to get him to let me take about a hundred pictures of him standing really still. Other than him starring in it I shot it and made it work on the computer. I finished making it and posted it on 12-25-07.

So this video was completed on Christmas and I did all of the photography and the editing.

SimCity Societies

SIMCITY SOCIETIES

As many people have already said SimCity Societies isn't at all like any of the other SimCity games. In some ways good in some ways not so good.
First off you can't make your cities as big as you used to be able to, since the game has taken away the ability to zone land you have to place buildings individually. Also the buildings have more direct results and they require more than just money to run. You need to use values to run the buildings. You may need to place several different buildings just to put 1 other building in.
Other than than those things the game is great!!
The level of detail to the game is astounding!! You can zoom in so close you can make out facial expressions on your sims. You can even see their drunken staggering after going to the bar and what-not. There are so many different types of sims such as the police, the S.W.A.T. team, hippies, mimes, fire fighters, street preachers, and pickpockets.
The game hasn't gotten rid of every thing familiar to the game, you can still cause natural disasters (YAY!!!) also there is still a ticker-tape at the bottom of the screen telling you all of the important information (and sometimes weird things).
The game is much easier to access than SC4 or other installments.

To sum it up it's hard to build large cities but other than that it's really great game!

Puzzle Pirates

Super Mario Galaxy and RayMan Raving Rabbids 2

My parents recently let my brother and I pick out two games to purchase we chose Super Mario Galaxy and RayMan Raving Rabbids 2.

-SUPER MARIO GALAXY-
Super Mario Galaxy is a very fun game! It has controls similair to Super Mario 64 but Nintendo made sure to include plenty of new features.
First off there's the small little thing that YOUR IN OUTER SPACE! The gravity is probably the most amazing thing about that, it is so much fun to jump through the middle of a dough-nut shaped planet and have it pull you through the middle and set you back down on the other side. Also when you jump into a special type of star that flings you through space it gives you a very interesting view of things, like flinging around a fiery planet that shoots lava around you.

The other great thing about this game is the way it looks. The cut-scenes look almost like the CGI in some of the year's best animated films. And even in game the graphics are still amazing, despite being in the middle of a void we call space the game still looks very bright and the lighting effects are amazing! Mario looks more polished than in probably any other Mario game so far.

The game isn't the most difficult, a semi-experienced player can go through it with the minimum requirements in about 2 days with no trouble.
New players will find the game fun to play as well as experienced players. Those new to the franchise will enjoy all of the new features while those who have been playing Mario since it first came out will find that it has enough of the qualities from the old games as well as enough to keep the game from feeling just like all of the others.

-RAYMAN RAVING RABBIDS 2-
RayMan Raving Rabbids 2 is about the same as the first, but that's a good thing. I don't mean it has all the same minigames but it is still all minigames.
The best thing that they did was to keep all of the slapstick humor as well as all of the Rabbids weirdness.
Another great thing is that you can actually play as the Rabbids instead of plain old RayMan and there is a whole boatload of costumes you can make the Rabbids wear.
A new thing in one of the minigames, the plunger shooting one to be exact, is that the background is a real video and all of the Rabbids are animated in which gives it a very new(and nice) look.
The graphics aren't always the best graphics they could have done but once your into the minigames you'll hardly notice it.
All of the minigames are fun there are some that you'll like better than others, but there isn't ever a minigame that I have disliked. There are only fifty or so minigames, but they are all very replayable.
The minigames are divided up into different cultural groups like South America, USA, Asia, Europe, and the Tropics. In America you may have to play football, or get your "kids" to shut-up on a road trip. In Europe you may have to go on a Toure De France like race just with a tricycle.
This game was also pretty easy, some of the minigames take out quite the beating on your arms, but an average player could probably unlock them all in about one day.
I would recommend this game to pretty much anyone, and if your trying to get someone you know into video games this would be a very good starting point.
